Pane Carasau

Pane Carasau-- the ultra thin cracker bread from the mysterious island of Sardinia.  It can be used like layers for a lasagna (pane frittau) or underneath sauteed greens with olive oil.  Traditionally this was a shepherd's snack because it could keep while he was out with his flock.  These days it is coveted by traditionalists and gourmets alike.  Comes as quarter pieces.  250 g/8.8 ounces
